FLASHbrief

FLASHbrief is an instantaneous, Internet-based, mass alert notification system. It is specifically designed for organizations to relay both ADVISORY and EMERGENCY alerts to members computers in a matter of seconds with subsequent message notification delivered to mobile cellular units via email and/or text messaging. FLASHbrief's server cluster, state of the art software and proprietary encryption engine collectively and securely harness the power of the Internet to bring a new level of emergency communication capability to members... in just seconds.

FLASHbrief computer desktop notification with audible alert is lightning fast. Advisory or emergency messages reach computers connected to your service anywhere in the world in less than 20 seconds...every time. Remember that while your FLASHbrief service also sends your message via email and SMS text messaging modalities, their speed of delivery are subject to individual cellular providers capability and volume restrictions. (* Please NOTE: We do not send SMS phone texts for advisory notices.) With your FLASHbrief connection, you can be assured that while emails and SMS texts are being delivered as fast as your areas infrastructure allows, your FLASHbrief desktop alert connections suffer no volume degradation and can continually provide 20 second or less update notification, time and time again.

These alerts will appear on your computer screen even if you have a pop up blocker in use. If your computer is turned off, the alerts will appear once you restart your computer. A relevant non-emergency advisory will appear in green on your screen and an impending emergency will appear in red. There are also two separate tones associated with each alert.

We have three types of alerts signals, 1.) Residents, 2.) Businesses and 3.) Emergency Responders.

To sign up for FLASHbrief Alerts from the Cape May County Sheriff's Office, click on the appropriate link below that applies to you. This will take you to the FLASHbrief "Get Connected" page.

When asked, input the appropriate corresponding ID number that is below each link. Follow the their instructions on each page.
You can input as many email addresses as you need then click on "Done Entering Emails" to go to the next page.
You may input as many phone numbers as you need then just click on "Done Entering Phone Numbers"

Follow the remaining instruction to complete the install process.
If the process has completed correctly you will see an icon appear on your Task Bar - "Fb"
